The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive perioperative care, including pre-operative assessments and phone screenings. They are responsible for managing patient care within the operating room as a scrub or circulating nurse and providing post-surgical care in the PACU.

Registered Nurses at EYE-Q are perioperative nurses. Perioperative nurses help plan, carry out, and assess treatment for patients undergoing surgery. Our biggest need at the moment someone who can help patients during surgery (OR).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of health care laws, regulations, and nursing care methods and procedures Excellent communication skills Advanced knowledge of EMR/EHRs Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure in California with the board of Registered Nursing (RN) Two-years RN experience and one-year OR experience Ophthalmic/plastics surgery experience (preferred)
