Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients.

Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning.

Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching Job Requirements Required Associates Of Science Nursing, upon hire Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 30 Days

Requirements

Requires an Associate of Science in Nursing and a valid California Registered Nurse license. Must possess Basic Life Support (CPR) certification upon hire and obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within 30 days.
