Overview Effingham Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (Women's Health) to join our established and collaborative team in Effingham, Illinois.

A unique opportunity to practice full-scope women’s health in a supportive, team-based environment with no call responsibilities and the option to assist in surgery.

The role is ideal for both new graduates seeking mentorship and experienced Physician Assistants seeking a balanced schedule and expanded clinical experience.

Why Join Effingham OB/GYN No traditional call responsibilities 1:5 weekend phone triage (from home) 4-day workweek (8-hour clinic days; 9-hour surgical days) Predictable schedule designed for long-term balance Full-scope women’s health including: Annual exams and problem visits OB intake and routine OB visits Postpartum care Infertility evaluations and STD testing IUDs, Nexplanon, Colposcopy, Endometrial biopsy, PTNS and minor procedure Opportunity to assist with C-sections and gynecologic surgeries Surgical Exposure + Clinical Growth Work alongside experienced OB/GYN physicians Exposure to both clinic and procedural-based care Join a 10-provider team (physicians, PAs, and CNMs) Strong mentorship available for new graduate Collaborative, patient-first environment Comprehensive Clinical Experience Full-scope women’s health including: Annual exams and problem visits OB intake and routine OB visits Postpartum care Infertility evaluations and STD testing Office-based procedures: IUDs, Nexplanon Colposcopy Endometrial biopsy PTNS and minor procedures Opportunity to assist with C-sections and gynecologic surgeries Dedicated MA support Strong collaboration with physicians and APPs Established patient base with consistent demand Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $110,000–$120,000 (based on experience) Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid maternity leave 401(k) with company match CME allowance and paid CME time Licensing and malpractice coverage Paid time off Location – Effingham, Illinois Effingham offers an affordable, community-focused lifestyle with easy access to larger metro areas.
