  • What you’ll do
  • Respond promptly to patient call lights and assess needs to determine appropriate support or escalation
  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, personal hygiene, and comfort care
  • Turn, reposition, and assist bedridden patients per care plans and safety guidelines
  • Support nutritional needs by following dietary restrictions, food allergies, and resident preferences
  • Gather and communicate relevant information regarding patient condition, treatment plans, and recommended activities
  • Measure, monitor, and accurately record food and fluid intake
  • Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respirations, as directed
  • Observe patients for changes in condition or signs requiring medical attention and report findings to nursing staff
  • Communicate resident concerns, complaints, or symptoms clearly and promptly to nurses
  • Greet and assist residents, families, and visitors professionally, providing directions and support as needed
  • Introduce yourself to residents, families, and visitors to promote comfort and trust
  • Identify and report safety hazards to ensure a safe care environment
  • Replenish supplies and maintain organized patient care areas
  • Adhere to all infection control practices, including proper hand hygiene, standard precautions, and isolation protocols
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Wyoming State Certified Nursing Assistant
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and processes.
  • Has and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to take after-hours calls, work nights, weekends, pick up shifts, and flexibility in scheduling, due to patient care needs.

Physical Requirements and Conditions

Positions requires light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry.

Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.

Requirements

Must be a Wyoming State Certified Nursing Assistant with a High School Diploma and BLS certification. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and flexibility to work nights and weekends.
