The multi-modality Radiology Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures for radiological diagnosis or treatment of patients, using injection skills as needed, and other related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a radiologist or other credentialed specialist.
Mammography experience strongly preferred.
AARRT registry, registry eligible. If not registered in Mammography, must become registered within 2 years of hire date. AHA BLS-HCP required; May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.

Prepares, positions, and monitors patients to ensure safety and image quality.
Administers contrast media and performs additional procedures as required.

Utilizes computer systems for scheduling, registration, image processing, and documentation.
Maintains compliance with imaging policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Maintains competency and certification requirements for assigned modalities.
