About the role

Provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to adolescent and adult psychiatric patients and their families. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments and facilitating group and family process-oriented therapies.

  • JOB SUMMARY: To provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to adolescent and/or adult psychiatric patient population and their families, spouse, significant other; to serve as a member of interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and maintains effective working relationships with NARC, Admissions, the Business Office, Physicians, and Nursing staff.
  • Conducts psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment focus by interviewing the patient and their family members.
  • Provides group and family process-oriented therapies as well as conducts educational and other didactic groups for patients and family members using various professional treatment modalities.
  • Initial discharge plan formulated and noted on psychosocial with 72 hours of admission.

Qualifications

  • Job Requirements Master’s degree in Social Work or equivalent master’s degree in a recognized mental health field.
  • Strongly prefer one year experience.
  • LMSW, LISW in South Carolina preferred.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Social Work or a recognized mental health field. Preference is given to candidates with one year of experience and LMSW or LISW licensure in South Carolina.
