The NP or PA will provide direct patient care to Hematology and Oncology patients throughout the continuum of treatment, including: Conducting follow-up visits and routine patient evaluations Seeing patients throughout chemotherapy and treatment regimens Managing urgent and same-day sick visits Providing survivorship and post-treatment care Delivering comprehensive symptom management and supportive care Educating patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and care plans Collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary care teams Supporting patients in achieving their treatment goals and maintaining quality of life Performing bone marrow biopsies, if desired and appropriately credentialed
