Description

This contract position offers a dynamic on-site working environment where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality emergency medical care to our patients.

As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be integral to our healthcare services, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment of patients in critical conditions. You will work closely with a skilled team of professionals committed to delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced medical practice setting.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency medical services to patients Conduct thorough medical assessments and treatment plans Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Respond to medical emergencies and conduct life-saving procedures Supervise and guide junior medical staff and others in the clinical setting Maintain accurate patient records and comply with medical protocols Attend and participate in continuing medical education and training Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards within the facility

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico Experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a clinical setting Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practices Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred

Schedule: 8p-8a, specific dates

Patient Volume: ~1,200 per month, ~2 per hour

Fast track 4 days per week, moving to 6 days per week

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
