Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases, as well as GYN patients and newborns.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, assist with labor and delivery, and support cesarean sections as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions; manage postpartum recovery and newborn assessment and care.
• Document clinical observations and interventions in the electronic medical record (EPIC/Stork) accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and parent education; respond to obstetric emergencies as needed.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license (verification via NURSYS) with all RN licenses current; RTO must be included with submission.
• Resume that demonstrates 4–5 years of L&D experience; documented travel experience.
• Certifications: current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• EMR experience required: EPIC/Stork.
• Driver’s license with address that matches demographics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced L&D setting with unit float coverage as needed.
