Short Term Acute Care Hospital outpatient cardiology services. Travel — Temporary Assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

  • Location: Geneva, New York; outpatient cardiology/clinic setting

  • No on-call, weekends, or nights required

Responsibilities

  • Perform ETTs and Nuclear Stress Testing as part of outpatient cardiology procedures
  • Conduct initial patient interview and provide a preliminary assessment of test data; prepare studies for physician interpretation
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; provide patient and family education
  • Work closely with physicians and cardio/rehab supervisors to ensure accurate, timely results
  • Recognize emergencies and respond according to policy; identify and interpret arrhythmias; perform conscious sedation as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license in New York
  • Education: RN graduate; BSN preferred
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS (through AHA or RQI)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of patient care with recent arrhythmia recognition and cardiology experience
  • Preferred: ICU or Cardiology nursing experience; moderate sedation competency; experience with Meditech
  • Ability to work in an outpatient cardiology setting and collaborate with the cardiology team
