Description TPG Pediatrics is looking for a FULL TIME Medical Assistant to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
We are a large pediatric practice in Northern Virginia dedicated to excellent patient care.

We have daily cleaning procedures in place and provide PPE to include OSHA fit testing for all employees.
30 and 5:30pm. Once per month rotation in our Saturday clinic (8am-1pm). Hourly wage differentials are paid for our Saturday morning clinics.
The position is located at our Kingstowne/Franconia location.
PTO; 401k; Health, Dental & Vision Insurance and Paid Holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs general nursing care for patients, including administration of immunizations, antibiotics, and performs treatments under the direction of the providers. Ensures established patient medical records are updated according to practice protocol including progress notes, immunization records, and other information are in place and computer templates are used. Greets patients and prepares them for the provider’s examination. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND CREDENTIALS: High school diploma/GED required MA certification or equivalent 1 year experience preferred, preferably in a pediatric medical group practice
Competency in operating medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care. Knowledge required to maintain a safe work environment. Skilled in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide patient care.
