The RN will function as the Charge Nurse, responsible for nursing care and supervision of other staff. They will collaborate in the development of treatment programs and assist in medication administration as needed.

We currently provide inpatient programs and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) that provide therapy to those struggling with emotional disorders, substance abuse, and mental disorders.

Specific responsibilities and duties
Function as the Charge Nurse, responsible for nursing care and supervision of LPNs, CNAs and Mental Health Technicians. RNs assure that care provided demonstrates the ANA standards for care and utilizes evidence-based practice.
Collaborate in the development and implementation of the treatment program, including individual Plans of Care.
Serve as the Medication Nurse as needed and assist LPNs and all staff as needed. Teamwork is essential in this role.
Assist the DON as the liaison between the program staff and medical staff.
Work within established budget and staffing guidelines.
Participate in Performance Improvement by engaging in the plan, study, do act cycle of improvement.
Serve as a role model to others of professionalism, positive attitude, and excellent patient care.
Other duties as assigned.
