Provide individualized nursing care and monitor patient conditions within a 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and document interventions accurately in the EMR.

  • PM-7:00 AM |
  • Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation

  • Differentials: $5.00/hour from 3 PM – 11 PM $7.50/hour from 11 PM – 7 AM $7.50/hour on weekends starting Friday at 11p-Mon 7a Join the Med/Surg team at Marshalltown Hospital and provide compassionate, high-quality care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities

Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process and clinical judgment Collaborate with providers, care teams, patients, and families to support positive outcomes Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the appropriate team members Coordinate and delegate care activities based on patient needs and team roles Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient care within the EMR Support safe patient handoffs and continuity of care across settings and shifts Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards Serve as a resource and supportive team member within the department Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development Help maintain a respectful, compassionate, and team-oriented care environment

Qualifications

Education: Associate Degree of Nursing License(s)/Certification(s): Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing. #HotJobsMT

Requirements

Requires an Associate Degree of Nursing and a current nursing license in the state of Iowa. Candidates must be able to work night shifts and participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
