The increasingly busy Department of Surgery provides the most progressive surgical methods using the latest technology to provide outstanding patient care. In addition, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is home to a state-of-the-art bioskills simulation laboratory that’s accredited as an Educational Institute by the American College of Surgeons for additional staff training.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients. The primary role of the Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Surgery is supporting the surgical house staff in the care of patients requiring surgical consultation, pre and post operative management under an attending surgeon’s supervision with or without surgical house staff involvement.
