What you'll do

As an LPN or Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Patient care & clinical support

Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.

Obtain and document vital signs, including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.

Review medical histories, medications, and reason for visit.

Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.

Administer medications and injections within your scope of practice.

Collect lab specimens, perform blood draws, and support laboratory services as needed.

Monitor patient needs and communicate concerns to the provider and care team.

Care coordination & documentation

Accurately document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).

Assist with medication refill requests and patient medication questions.

Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date medical records.

Coordinate care with providers and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.

Patient education & team collaboration

Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare.

Help create a welcoming, safe, and patient-centered environment.

Collaborate with providers and teammates to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

Required qualifications

  • Licensed practical nurse (Lpn)
  • Current LPN license in the State of Missouri (or ability to obtain).
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
  • Medical assistant (Ma)
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.

  • Strong patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and basic computer applications.
  • Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional patient service.
  • Preferred experience
  • Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, outpatient, or ambulatory care settings.
  • Experience with phlebotomy, injections, and laboratory specimen collection.
  • Knowledge of preventative health practices and patient education.

Requirements
