As a Radiology specialist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients using advanced imaging technologies. Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures Interpret diagnostic imaging results and communicate findings to referring physicians Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient-centered treatment plans Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in radiology Assist in the education and training of medical students and residents Stay current with developments and advancements in radiology Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients Participate in multi-disciplinary case discussions and conferences
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Current state medical license to practice in Germantown Completion of residency training in Radiology CREDENTIALS, including Board Certification in Radiology (preferred) Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
No call requirement
Daily Volume: 75 DX reads, some US
4 mammo units onsite
Case Types: Screeners, diagnostics, US, and MRI
Procedures are not required, but are available if interested
Current Team Structure: 3 Breast Imagers, 3 Breast Surgeons
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
