As a medical laboratory generalist, you'll get to
Manage Special Red Cell inventory and distribution.
Offer technical support to hospital transfusion services.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify malfunctions.
Conduct preparation and prequalification of reagents.
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or other “hard' science meeting the CLIA requirements for moderate or high complexity testing.
Education must include completion of courses in Immunology and Genetics.
