Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire a Registered Echo cardiographer.
The Echocardiographer interprets physician's requests and performs ultrasound procedures and other duties related to the production of quality images.
The Echocardiographer conducts exams in a manner conducive to the patient's safety and comfort and is competent with and provides services to all age groups.
Echocardiographer supports and assumes a role in the Diagnostic Imaging and Hospital customer service program.
The Echocardiographer may be assigned other duties and hours as deemed necessary to enhance the functions and productivity of the department.
The Echocardiographer renders quality patient care in accordance with the philosophy, mission, objectives and policies of Harrison County Hospital and takes reasonable precautions when caring for patients with the knowledge that mistakes may have serious consequences for the patient.
Willing to work any part of a 24 hour shift as needed to enhance departmental function.
EDUCATION: Graduate from an approved Ultrasound program.
On-the job training, however registration with ARDMS or ARRT must be obtained within 1 year of meeting the eligibility requirements ARDMS, CCI registered or eligible.
