Position Overview Well Rooted Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering comprehensive pediatric care through both conventional and functional medicine principles. This position is ideal for a provider who values longer appointments when clinically appropriate, enjoys solving complex pediatric cases, and desires to practice medicine that looks beyond symptom management to identify underlying causes of disease.
The ideal candidate is passionate about caring for infants, children, and adolescents with both acute and chronic health concerns, including gastrointestinal disorders, developmental and behavioral conditions, allergies, eczema, recurrent infections, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, nutritional deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, and other complex pediatric concerns.
Deliver exceptional patient-centered care while maintaining high clinical standards.
Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families.
Maintain timely completion of documentation and clinical tasks.
Follow established clinical protocols and practice workflows.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, integrity, and compassion in all patient interactions.
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous quality improvement.

Requires an active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of experience in pediatric primary care. Preference is given to candidates with training in Functional or Integrative Medicine.
