Key Responsibilities

  • Provide rapid assessments, diagnosis, and brief counseling support.
  • Offer longer-term psychotherapy for patients with ongoing needs.
  • Deliver substance abuse counseling and crisis intervention services.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to address mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Make meaningful treatment recommendations that change lives.

What You Bring

MSW from an accredited school of social work (CSWE) or PhD/PsyD.

Licensure as an independent clinical social worker in Vermont.

3-5 years of clinical experience preferred, but not mandatory.

Experience in a medical setting and interest in behavioral medicine, CBT, and addiction treatment.

Strong diagnostic, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention skills.

Must be CPR certified.

Requirements

Requires an MSW or PhD/PsyD and independent clinical social worker licensure in Vermont. Candidates should have CPR certification and preferably 3-5 years of clinical experience in a medical setting.
