About the role

Conduct initial and ongoing neonatal neuro-developmental assessments and create care plans using the NIDCAP format. Provide developmental interventions for high-risk infants and deliver education to families, staff, and the community.

Job Summary

Responsible for conducting initial and on-going neonatal neuro-developmental assessments and providing written evaluations (N.I.D.C.A.P. format) and care plans for the infant's chart, family and the State of Arizona. Responsible for providing written plans/reports to the State of AZ on a quarterly and annual basis, as well as attending required state meetings. Provides optimal developmental interventions to high risk infants following accepted standards. Provides appropriate developmental education to families, staff and the community as needed.

Requirements

Requires a current Arizona state license as an RN, OT, or PT with NIDCAP reliability and BLS certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in developmental care and neonatal patient assessment is required.
