Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages and backgrounds under the supervision of a Radiologist. Ensure timely completion of ASAP and stat exams while maintaining departmental housekeeping and safety standards.

Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and the Imaging Services Supervisor, this individual performs a variety of ultrasound procedures and related duties within their scope of practice and the policy and procedures of the department. The scope of testing provided is for all patient ages, gender, culture and background.
Schedule: Full Time, 9p-730a or 8p- 630a M-Th
1. Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to changes in workload, schedule, department function and procedures

Meets/exceeds competency criteria specific to the task/duties of the position.

Completes all annual hospital-wide mandatory training within defined time frame.
5.
Demonstrates competence in specified computer and ultrasound applications.
6. Utilizes time wisely, completing all patient exams in a timely manner, assisting others and performing departmental duties as needed. These duties may include restocking, housekeeping, patient safety and compliance improvements and inspection readiness.
7. Completes ASAP exams within one hour or as directed by radiologist and reports all stat exams within one hour.

Requires ARDMS certification or registry eligibility and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Must demonstrate competence in sonographic procedures and hold a Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider) certification.
