Located just 45 minutes west of the Twin Cities, our practice offers the perfect blend of high-quality medicine, supportive team culture, and exceptional work-life balance in a beautiful setting. Modern, well-equipped facility built in 2014 and remodeled in 2022 Strong, team-oriented culture with a focus on communication and support Part of Animals Inc., a network of five collaborative practices in Central Minnesota Opportunities to consult and share knowledge across multiple clinics Quarterly all-team meetings with all five practices to connect, learn, and grow together Diverse team with a wide range of experience levels and backgrounds Excellent staff-to-doctor ratio for optimal workflow and support Hospital Features 4 exam rooms and expanded reception areas Dedicated surgical suite Large treatment area with both wet and dry tables Updated and thoughtfully designed workspace to support efficiency and comfort Services & Equipment Full in-house Heska laboratory Idexx Sedivue for urinalysis Digital radiography (full body and dental) Basic ultrasound capabilities Comprehensive small animal medical and surgical care Ongoing partnerships with local rescue organizations: Homeward Bound Arrows Heart Rescue Crossroads Animal Shelter Schedule & Work-Life Balance Open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM No evenings or on-call responsibilities Rotating Saturday shift (1 every 9–10 weeks) at Kimball location: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Doctors typically see 15–20 patients per day: 15-minute wellness appointments 30-minute sick appointments Strong support team: Average of 2 technicians/assistants per veterinarian 2 dedicated customer service representatives daily Team culture that prioritizes leaving on time and enjoying life outside of work What We Value Delivering excellent patient care alongside an outstanding client experience Supporting one another as a cohesive, respectful team Maintaining a healthy balance between professional fulfillment and personal life Creating a positive, inclusive environment for team members of all backgrounds Mentorship & Support We welcome both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. For newer DVMs, we provide a supportive and individualized mentorship experience designed to help you build confidence and grow at your own pace. New graduates benefit from longer appointment times, built-in breaks throughout the schedule, and a gradual approach to surgical training—starting with observation and assistance before progressing to independent procedures as comfort and skill develop. Our Chief of Staff and Lead Veterinarian work closely with each new doctor to establish mentorship goals, identify areas for additional support or training, and create a collaborative learning environment focused on long-term success.
