Your Role As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will: Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Assist in treating patients with upper extremity and hand conditions, including post-surgical and non-surgical diagnoses.

Fabricate and adjust orthoses as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and functional activities.

Accurately document patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the clinical team.

Collaborate with therapists and support staff to provide outstanding patient-centered care.

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Texas.

Experience in hand therapy is required.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.

Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Requirements

Requires an associate degree from an accredited OTA program and a current COTA license or eligibility for licensure in Texas. Experience in hand therapy and CPR certification are also required.
