Evaluate and treat patients with acute medical conditions in an emergency setting Perform life-saving procedures as required Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care Document patient encounters comprehensively and accurately Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and practices Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed Assist in the training and supervision of medical students and residents
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Current board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine Relevant clinical experience in an emergency setting Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Active medical license in the respective state Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Schedule: 10-hour shifts
