Lincoln Internal Medicine Associates (LIMA) is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing outpatient practice. As we continue to expand—including the addition of another physician in 2027—we're looking for an exceptional nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients while working alongside experienced physicians and advanced practice providers.

What you'll do

As part of our clinical team, you'll work directly with physicians and patients to provide exceptional outpatient care.

Responsibilities

include:

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs
  • Perform patient assessments and document findings
  • Administer medications and immunizations
  • Perform EKGs, spirometry, ear irrigations, IV therapy (within RN scope), and other clinical procedures
  • Triage patient phone calls and communicate test results
  • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up care
  • Provide patient education for chronic disease management and preventive care
  • Process medication refill requests
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
  • Support OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and quality initiatives

Qualifications

  • Current Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS certification

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Nebraska Registered Nurse license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification. Previous outpatient or primary care experience is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
