Rehabilitation-Speech Therapy - Speech Therapist Basic Purpose of the Job A Speech/ Language Pathologist works under the Rehabilitation Manager and upon medical referral, evaluates and / or if indicated from assessment, provides therapy for speech, language or swallow issues for inpatients and out patients.
Minimum Education Masters or Doctorate Degree in speech language pathology or communication disorders with some course work in Dysphagia Required Licenses / Certifications Current Guam Board of Allied Health license in Speech Pathology.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Basic Microsoft knowledge and skills.
Ability to accurately assess/ treat speech, language, swallow issues.
Ability to work with all patients (acute care inpatients and outpatients).
Ability to work as a team member with employees in Rehabilitative Services and GRMC Hospital.
Requires a Master's or Doctorate degree in speech language pathology or communication disorders with coursework in Dysphagia. Must hold a current Guam Board of Allied Health license in Speech Pathology.
