The Psychiatric Technician II is a member of a team dedicated to provide the highest quality care and services to our patients by assisting in such functions as maintaining a safe, clean and functional environment; assisting with dietary aspects of care; facilitating communication, i.e., answering phones; transporting patients and assisting visitors. As an integral part of the team, the Psychiatric Technician II is responsible for activities, which promote patient focused care within the Inpatient Psychiatric unit.
Essential Functions
The Psychiatric Technician II provides direct patient care in accordance with the goals and objectives Nursing Services under the guidance of the Registered Professional Nurse.
The Psychiatric Technician II provides indirect patient care in accordance with the goals and objectives of Nursing Services under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse.
The Psychiatric Technician II demonstrates expected conduct, behavior and accountability.
The Psychiatric Technician II supports the vision, mission, values and balanced scorecard performance measures for MMOV Nursing Services and participates in achieving the objectives and balanced scorecard performance measures at the unit level.
