Observes all patient populations and watches the licensed technologists’ utilize proper positioning techniques and evaluate proper exposure settings for exams. The Radiology Administrative Aide may perform administrative duties to assist the technologist while on duty.
1. Minimum completion of 1 year in approved School of Radiologic Technology. 2. Knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures and performance standards. 3. Minimum completion of 1 semester of hospital clinical. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: State license and ARRT within 6 months of graduation. 2. Must have and maintain current CPR certification, according to unit specific needs. Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider’s Program.
