The RN provides care for patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology, collaborating with cardiology and vascular surgery physicians. Responsibilities include assessing patients during procedures and managing moderate sedation while adhering to state and facility standards.
The Registered Nurse (RN) will assume responsibility and accountability in providing care for patients received in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
The Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology RN works closely with cardiology, vascular-surgery and interventional radiology physicians.
Typical producers include cardiac catheterization, kyphoplasty, leadless pacemaker placement and much more.
The RN is responsible for assessing the patient during the procedures and while the patient in under moderate sedation.
The RN will utilize the nursing process in the provision of care and will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of Conway Regional Medical Center.
The Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology RN will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaboration efforts.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas.

Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with an active Arkansas license and BLS/ACLS certifications. A BSN is preferred, and experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab is desired.
