Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job

Key Highlights • Weekly pay range

• $1,763–$1,819 per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Orient to the planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical unit
• Care for age-related physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Participate in care planning, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as prescribed
• Assess physiological changes and psychosocial needs; provide patient and family education
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice; collaborate with CNAs

Requirements

• Active RN license in California (state-specific licensure required for practice on assignment)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Med-Surg nursing experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients or demonstrated ability to manage diverse age-related needs
• Ability to work nights and the 3x12-hour shift schedule
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a hospital Med-Surg setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
