About the role

Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions across outpatient clinics and inpatient hospital settings. Collaborate with cardiologists to develop treatment plans and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs and stress tests.

Bay Area Cardiology Associates is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the Tampa Bay area.

This position offers the opportunity to work across both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings while caring for a diverse cardiovascular patient population.

You'll collaborate with an established team of cardiologists and experienced APPs, gaining exposure to general cardiology, heart failure, electrophysiology, vascular disease, and other cardiovascular subspecialties.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a shared weekend rotation approximately once per month.

Providers may choose their primary office location from our Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, or Sun City Center clinics.

Qualifications

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care NP or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP preferred) or Physician Assistant Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start Minimum of 2 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience required 3+ years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred Experience may be from any specialty Cardiology, acute care, critical care, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine experience is a plus Interest in cardiovascular medicine

Requirements

Requires a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active Florida license. A minimum of 2 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience is required, with a preference for 3+ years.
