Augustine, FL | Clinic + Limited Hospital Responsibilities | New Graduates Welcome First Coast Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in St.

Augustine.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and General Cardiologists in a collaborative practice environment.

The role includes a mix of outpatient clinic care and limited hospital responsibilities, providing exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular conditions and treatment plans.

New graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply.

Work closely with Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, and General Cardiology specialists Mix of outpatient clinic and hospital-based cardiology care Collaborative, physician-led practice environment Structured mentorship and support from experienced providers Opportunity to build specialized cardiovascular expertise Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Career growth opportunities within the CVAUSA network What You'll Do Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits in the outpatient setting Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, imaging studies, stress testing, and laboratory results Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers Participate in weekend hospital rounding and consult coverage as part of a shared rotation Provide remote weekday evening call coverage and coordinate patient handoff as needed Schedule & Call Monday–Friday outpatient clinic schedule Shared weekend hospital call rotation with another APP Remote weekday call coverage from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday off following weekend call coverage Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation and sick leave CME allowance and professional development support

Qualifications
