Clinical Research | Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Continue Practicing Medicine in a Role That Values Your Clinical Expertise Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking for a role where you can focus on practicing medicine - not insurance authorizations, productivity quotas, or running a busy clinic?

Headlands Research is seeking a seasoned Advanced Practice Provider to serve as a full-time Sub-Investigator at our established clinical research site in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced provider who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients, values clinical autonomy, and wants to continue using their assessment, diagnostic, and medical decision-making skills every day.

Clinical research offers the opportunity to practice medicine in a different way.

Rather than seeing a high volume of patients, you'll spend meaningful time with research participants, perform comprehensive clinical evaluations, interpret diagnostic results, and help advance innovative therapies that have the potential to improve lives around the world.

Why Join Headlands Research?

Practice at the Top of Your License As the sole full-time medical provider at our Myrtle Beach site, you'll serve as the primary medical resource for a dedicated team of approximately 15-20 clinical research professionals.

You will collaborate with part-time and contract providers.

Working alongside experienced Clinical Research Coordinators, Research Assistants, Laboratory staff, the Site Director, Principal Investigators, and study sponsors, you'll play an integral role in ensuring participant safety and the successful execution of clinical trials.

While the Principal Investigator maintains overall responsibility for each clinical trial, you'll work collaboratively with the PI to deliver exceptional participant care.

Your medical expertise will help guide the clinical team, support medical decision-making, answer protocol-related clinical questions, and ensure the highest standards of quality throughout every study.

This is a highly collaborative environment where you'll never practice in isolation.

You'll be supported by an experienced research team that manages study operations, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing excellent patient care and contributing to the advancement of new medical therapies.

Predictable Schedule & Exceptional Work-Life Balance Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM No evenings No weekends Make an Impact Beyond Individual Patients Every participant you care for contributes to the development of future treatments that may benefit thousands of patients.

Your work will directly influence the advancement of medicine while providing access to cutting-edge therapies for your local community.

About Headlands Research Headlands Research is one of the fastest-growing integrated clinical trial site networks in North America, operating more than 20 research sites across the United States and Canada.

Our mission is simple: Improve lives by advancing innovative medical therapies and making clinical research accessible to all.

We're committed to expanding access to clinical trials, increasing diversity in research, and delivering an exceptional experience for both participants and healthcare professionals.
