Job Overview

The Medical Assistant is vital in providing quality care within the Family Medical Centers. This position assists medical providers with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient care. The MA is expected to perform duties in compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and patient-centered care principles.

Qualification

  • 1.
  • Education 1.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • 2.
  • Experience 1.
  • One year's experience in a medical office or similar customer service role; knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is an asset.
  • 3.
  • Licensure 1.
  • Active and unencumbered MA license in the state of practice
