Job Summary

An exempt position responsible for providing psychotherapy and medication evaluation and management to a range of patients having mental illness or substance abuse disorders under the supervision of a collaborating psychiatrist.

The ideal candidate should be committed to helping the patient population (includes uninsured and underinsured) reach optimal mental health and support the plans and operations within a Patient-Centered Medical Home.

Qualifications

  • 1.
  • Current unrestricted APRN License in the State of Ohio 2.
  • Specialized training in the field of behavioral health 3.
  • Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicines and treatment for mental health conditions.
  • 4.
  • Accurate understanding of psychiatric diagnoses and their medical and behavioral management.
  • 5.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program.
  • 6.
  • National Board Certification as a PMHNP 7.
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's program, a national PMHNP board certification, and an unrestricted Ohio APRN license. Additionally, two years of experience as a Registered Nurse and specialized training in behavioral health are required.
