New Jersey Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Associate degree in Veterinary Technology Previous emergency or specialty hospital experience Compensation $24.00–$32.00/hour Compensation is based on experience, technical skillset, and technician level. Licensed New Jersey CVTs earn 25% above the posted wage ranges. Overnight shift differential applied to hours worked between 12:00am and 7:00am
