🐾Seeking Experienced Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our team at Budd Lake Animal Hospital🐾 Location: Budd Lake Animal Hospital - Hackettstown, NJ Dedicated 3 DVM practice with amazing clientele Schedule: Full-Time, flexible schedule options available Required: Wednesdays until 8:00 pm and every Saturday are REQUIRED Compensation: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour (Compensation based on experience, credentials, and skillset) At Budd Lake Animal Hospital, we are here for the animals — and we are here for you.

A Day in the Life: Assist veterinarians with patient exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow throughout the hospital Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical and dental procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort Provide attentive nursing care for hospitalized and recovering patients, including monitoring, medication administration, and comfort care Place IV catheters, administer IV fluids, and assist with fluid therapy and treatment plans Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples for laboratory testing Operate diagnostic equipment including digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house laboratory analyzers Support dental procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and dental radiography Accurately maintain medical records, treatment logs, and patient documentation Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners regarding treatment plans, patient updates, and post-procedure care Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide exceptional patient care and maintain an efficient hospital environment Skills & Requirements: Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices, procedures, and terminology.

Proficiency in compassionately handling and restraining animals, including those exhibiting stress or fear.

Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in using veterinary software for patient records and medical documentation.

Physical capability to lift, carry, and restrain animals of varying sizes.

For Birth Parent(s): Up to 14 weeks of paid leave at 100%, which includes: For Non-Birth Parent(s):6 weeks of paid leave at 100%, fully covered by VIP. About Our Hospital About Us: Budd Lake Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital, offering the gold standard in medical and surgical care. We believe healthy pets make happy people, and we strive to provide high-quality veterinary care for cats and dogs in the Hackettstown, NJ area. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house laboratory, radiography, digital dental radiography, and more. Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care. Our wonderful 3 doctors perform a variety of routine and basic soft tissue procedures, as well as dentistry. All our patients undergoing anesthesia have pre-op lab work and receive an IV catheter, IV fluids, and are carefully monitored and recovered by our skilled veterinary technicians. Hospital Hours of Operation are as followed: Monday: 8A-6P Tuesday: 8A-6P Wednesday: 8A-8P Thursday: 8A-6P Friday: 8A-6P Saturday: 9A-2P What makes our hospital special:
