Our Observation Unit Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices. We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Observation Unit Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire Graduate of an accredited nursing school BLS certification by the American Heart Association One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital.

Requirements

Requires a current Connecticut RN license (within 90 days of hire), graduation from an accredited nursing school, and BLS certification. One year of recent acute care experience is preferred, but graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.
