Job Title: Therapist Fee For Service

Program: Preferred Center for Children and Families

Location: Brick, Route 88

Position Type: Fee For Service

Starting rate $41.90/$51.50 depending on licensure

*Rate Increases $10.00 Per Session For Over 10 Clients Per Pay Period

Free Supervision Provided

Job Description/Summary

Individual needs of persons served are addressed including assessment and evaluation, referral, follow-up services, individual, group, and family therapy. Clinicians shall provide program services in locations that meet the needs of the persons served including traditional offices, residence, and community resource sites

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical assessments, formulate diagnosis and preliminary treatment plan:Diagnosis is congruent with assessment content.
  • Assessments will be thoroughly completed in compliance with organization policy.
  • Written assessments include mental status examination, provisional multi-axial diagnosis, and preliminary treatment plan with recommendations for ongoing treatment.
  • The preliminary treatment plan addresses immediate, emergent needs of the client. Recommendations include identification of special treatment needs or referral of high-risk clients.
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy to assigned caseload:
  • Progress notes address treatment goals and objectives and changes in mental health status.
  • Medical record contains progress notes within 24 hours for each face to face contact, telephone calls, and collateral contacts.
  • Provide case management

Qualifications

  • Education Master's Degree in Social Work or mental health counseling
  • Clinical licensure as LAC, and LSW with 2 years related experience
  • LCSW, and LPC with 2 years working with children
  • Substance Abuse certification,
  • Trauma certification and
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Requires a Master's Degree in Social Work or mental health counseling with clinical licensure (LAC, LSW, LCSW, or LPC) and at least 2 years of related experience. Certifications in Substance Abuse or Trauma and bilingual skills in English/Spanish are preferred.
