Perform accurate patient assessments and initiate appropriate nursing interventions for newborns in the nursery. Responsible for maintaining medical records, completing interdisciplinary care plans, and conducting quality improvement assessments.

The Nursery at Wilson Medical Center is comprised of a well-baby nursery as well as a 2-bed level II nursery serving newborns greater than 32 weeks' gestation. The nursery provides care to more than 800 newborns annually.

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
· Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
· One year of experience preferred
