The Registered Nurse is responsible for preparing patients for cardiac catheterization and assisting cardiologists during interventions like angioplasties and stent placements. They also monitor patients post-procedure to ensure stability before discharge.
Performs Mammography according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/ QC activities and if service is needed, escalates to Director. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required Current BCLS (AHA) required. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations. One year of expereince required. This compensation estimate is specific to New Jersey and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
