DO NOT APPLY UNLESS: You can work in office Monday - Thursday 8-5pm, Friday 8-Noon You have a current license. You enjoy interacting with patients and caring for their mental health needs. Responsibilities include providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physicians’ practice. Responsibilities

Assist physician in patient education, revising daily schedules, obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating labs and x-ray reports Assure patient health record is accurate and current Schedule diagnostic tests and procedures; notice patients of test results, schedule follow-up appointments as appropriate Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow

Qualifications

Graduation certificate from accredited LPN school of nursing Preferred 12 – 18 months related psychiatry experience Current state licensure

Requirements

Must have a graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school and a current state nursing license. Preferred candidates have 12 to 18 months of related psychiatry experience.
