About the role

The Occupational Therapist provides patient-centered care to help individuals regain independence through functional, cognitive, and sensory assessments. They develop personalized treatment plans, design assistive devices, and implement environmental modifications to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • The Occupational Therapist is dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care that empowers individuals to regain independence in daily activities.
  • This role involves assessing functional abilities, cognitive skills, and sensory processing to identify barriers and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices, the Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic interventions, designs assistive devices, and recommends environmental modifications to enhance patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
  • Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid State of Florida Occupational Therapist License along with BLS certification. A minimum of one year of direct patient experience is preferred.
