Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients Conduct routine examinations and assessments Diagnose and manage a variety of health conditions Perform necessary medical procedures Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Assist in patient education and counseling Participate in workshops and training to enhance skills
MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree Valid medical license to practice in the state Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong commitment to patient care and service Knowledge of electronic health record systems Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 8a-8a
Setting: Inpatient
Delivery Volume: 23-30 per month
Duties: Deliveries, C-sections, and ED call coverage for OB/GYN-related issues
Support Staff: Anesthesiologists, General Surgeons, OB/GYNs, Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician, and Respiratory Therapists
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
