About the role

The CNA is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean patient environment and managing supplies and equipment. They participate in patient care activities as part of a nursing team under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, has a PRN opening for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within our Medication Therapy Department.

Our Mission: Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care.

The CNA provides and maintains a safe, neat, and clean patient environment.

Ensures the maintenance of supplies, equipment, and patient care in accordance with established procedure.

Participates in patient care activities as a member of the nursing team and under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Paid time off (PTO) earned on an accrual basis starting first day of employment, up to 3.5 weeks per year based on a 40-hour work week.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program or has a significant amount of nursing assistant experience in the hospital setting. 2 years hospital experience preferred, preferably in an outpatient clinic or inpatient setting. Current BLS certification upon hire or BLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current BLS certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class. OCH is an Equal Opportunity Employer
