Responsibilities
- Provides quality, confidential, age specific alcohol/chemical dependency education, group counseling, and individual counseling.
- Evaluates and assesses patients with attention to the biological, psychological, cultural, spiritual, and social needs and ability to participate in treatment.
- Provides education re: alcohol/chemical dependency, tobacco cessation, gambling addiction, recovery skills and strategies to patients.
- Assists in the provision of alcohol/substance abuse consults at Garnet Health as requested by physicians, nursing and case management staff.
- Facilitates wellness education groups on the Behavioral Health Unit regarding alcohol/substance abuse and other addictive behaviors.

- The range for this role is $28.95 - $41.007 USD hourly.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Prefer Associates Degree in Human Services.
- Minimum
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the treatment of Substance Use Disorders.
- Required
- Certification/Registration: CASAC or CASAC-T, must attend hospital crisis training program within 3 months of hire or transfer and annually thereafter.
