BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Granbury area.
Schedule: PRN/Flexible scheduling (hours to be discussed during the interview)
Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift Provide toileting and personal care assistance Support activities of daily living (ADLs) Offer companionship and emotional support Monitor and report changes in the client's condition Maintain a safe and respectful environment Client Needs:
Experience caring for clients with dementia or cognitive impairment is highly preferred. The client can become emotionally distressed and agitated, so patience, compassion, and strong de-escalation skills are essential. Caregivers must be comfortable providing total care and assisting with mobility.
Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred Hoyer lift experience required Dementia care experience strongly preferred Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance CPR certification preferred Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Why BrightStar Care?
