Provide psychiatric nursing services to children, adults, and substance abuse clients at the Crisis Intervention Team Center. Coordinate care by communicating with local pharmacies and doctor's offices.
Piedmont Community Services is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse (LPN or RN) to providing nursing services to the Children /Adults / Substance Abuse Clients in the Martinsville Crisis Intervention Team Center.
This position will be responsible for providing nursing duties to clients to meet the standards of PCS as well as be responsible for the care and execution of psychiatric nursing services.
Must be able to communicate well with local doctor's offices and pharmacies to perform job duties.
Must be Licensed RN or LPN, with one-year psychiatric nursing or emergency dept nursing experience preferred.
Must have good computer skills and be familiar with standard office equipment.
Must be able to provide your own transportation to meetings and other sites.
Evenings, weekends, and some holiday hours required.
Pay is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.
Must be willing to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
Must be a licensed RN or LPN with preferred experience in psychiatric or emergency nursing. Candidates must pass background checks and drug screenings and have reliable transportation.
