EPIC Health is seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist to join our growing, dynamic, and multidisciplinary medical group. As we expand our cardiovascular services across the region, we’re building a best-in-class department that delivers a full spectrum of cardiac care—from diagnostics to intervention to rehabilitation.

What You’ll Do

Contribute to the development of a comprehensive cardiology department offering a wide range of services, including:

Diagnostic testing

Cardiac catheterizations

Pacemaker implantation

Cardiac rehabilitation

Evaluate and treat patients using advanced medical diagnostic and treatment skills.

Provide overreads of all cardiovascular imaging including echocardiograms, stress tests, ECGs, and nuclear cardiology.

Coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with case management to ensure seamless patient transitions.

Actively recommend and participate in efforts to improve the quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of care.

Accept patient referrals from other physicians and serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician as needed.

Participate in both inpatient and outpatient consultation for cardiology services.

Participate in academic programs, including education and research initiatives, as requested.

Ensure timely and complete documentation that meets insurance and quality requirements; manage appeals for any denials as needed.

Provide weekend rounding until noon only, supporting work-life balance for you and your team.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Cardiology (or Board Eligible with intent to certify)
  • Active or eligible for Michigan medical license
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency and cardiology fellowship
  • Ability to interpret a broad range of cardiovascular imaging
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic acumen

Note

Cardiologists completing fellowship training or early in their careers are encouraged to apply.
